I used to visit the Bistro frequently when I worked in the area, always ordering the same favorites: the Veggie Omelette and the Buttermilk Pancake. The omelette was once generously filled with fresh vegetables, and the eggs had a soft, delicate texture. The pancakes were beautifully presented, topped with a mix of fruit, nuts, whipped cream, and a drizzle of chocolate—both dishes felt thoughtfully prepared.
Unfortunately, the quality has changed. The omelette now has noticeably fewer vegetables, and the eggs tend to be greasier than before. The pancake, once a vibrant and indulgent dish, is now fairly basic, served with only maple syrup and whipped butter—though the butter was even forgotten on my last visit. The food was still plated nicely. While I appreciate the Bistro’s atmosphere and past experiences, the decline in quality has been saddening.

Was absolutely not expecting such an excellent breakfast. Home made ginger shots were delicious!

The Second time the burger was unacceptable. I asked for WELLDONE - rare instead and super greasy. A $25 burger. No discount for - please don't add BACON. I asked for a clubhouse in its place to go as lunch was OVER. I got a soggy pork sandwich when I got back to work. NEVER pay before you get your food - too late to tip accordingly and pay for food that's awful.

Our brunch was great today. Service was awesome. We ordered at the counter and drinks and food were delivered to us at our table. The Desi platter was very tasty, as was my friend's veggie omelet. I will definitely go back again. Fast, friendly service and tasty food.

Saw good reviews so wanted to try this place. I ordered pancakes and bacon and my fiance got the bistro burger. Coffees were okay. Pancakes were good and fluffy but wish they had whipped cream or more options, bacon was good. Burger was sopping wet and fries were not crispy. Decor needs some more touch and chairs were uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and good service

My new fave coffee breakfast spot. Off the beat and path on 203st off 96ave. Best breakfast sandwich ever with apple sausages and I had the very tasty gluten bun they offer as an alternative to bread bun. Served with delectable roasted potatoes. They even have a dirty Chai which is Chai with a shot of espresso. I've also had their blueberry and chocolate GF scone as well as the banana chocolate chip GF muffin. Server is sweet and friendly. Please give this place your business so it never goes away.

Went for brunch and it was awesome. I got the Benny and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while. I will be coming back.
Great place! Cozy, delicious food. Definitely with a twist. Everything we had was delicious.

We visited The Bistro after seeing its high ratings on Google. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
We ordered Huevos Rancheros and Chorizo Sunken Eggs. While the presentation was impressive, the food itself was just okay—nothing exceptional as we had expected. One of our dishes had to be replaced due to an issue with the eggs, but the staff handled it well and even offered us a free muffin, which was a nice gesture.
Overall, a decent experience, though the food didn’t quite meet our expectations.

The spicy chicken sandwich($22) was terrible. Thin slice of chicken thigh, the breading crumbled off and drenched in hot sauce. It’s not spicy breading, just hot sauce. The wedges needed salt. My husband’s omelette was bland ($22). Also got 2 lattes, they were okay.
The environment was more of a cafe. Better for to go food. We dined in but had to place our order at the counter so, service is as expected. No water served (it’s self serve).
For the price we paid, there are better breakfast/lunch places with better service.

Open cafe space. It was already decorated for Christmas mid November, though and playing some Christmas music. 😑
I got the breakfast wrap, which was quite good. The other people at the table enjoyed their food too. They have water on a side counter, so you can get your own refills.
