It is cozy and warm. Loved they offer a big mug with handle for hot tea. I really enjoyed ‘My favourite combo’ idea. One of my pick was salmon roll (6pcs) which every piece was larger and had big amount of salmon than other restaurants. I definitely will visit again.

Chef sushi use to be my favourite sushi restaurant, I use to be a regular customer there but it recently got taken under new management and the food took a big flop. The rolls were stuffed with cucumber and little fish. I usually ordered the spicy roll combo and they took out the spicy scallop roll and subbed with a spicy California instead. 6 rolls now, not 8. Prices went up a lot $5-$10. Got a crazy boy roll to and they changed it to. The batter was different, no cream cheese inside. Disappointed.

Place is under new management. Overall, prices went up and quality of the dishes has gone down. Spicy roll combo used to have a spicy scallop roll and now it’s just a spicy California roll. Also they put so much cucumber into the spicy tuna/salmons rolls it’s all I could taste. No one from the kitchen said hello to me when I entered when I was used to friendly greetings before. I loved this place but will be looking for alternatives now.

Under new ownership & is now our favourite sushi restaurant! Big portions, super fresh, beautiful presentation & the sashimi & nigiri pieces are sooooo buttery delicious fresh! Highly recommend!!! Edit: new ownership again…November 2024. Less food, less quality & jacked up the prices for the bento boxes. Charged extra for salmon teriyaki, there’s no stir fry veggies & no sunomono salad included now. Sad. We’ve been coming here every week for lunch & now we’ll be going elsewhere.

This was my go to sushi place and I would drive from from Abbotsford to enjoy it. It was a solid 5! I went this previous weekend and it's seems to have changed. New menu, higher prices and food not as good. The service was still excellent. New owners? Manager? It was incredible before now it's just average.
Unfortunately, I likely won't return and will find somewhere new.
