My mom recently moved to the area, and we needed a reliable go‑to spot for the first few days. Hard Bean absolutely saved the day. 🍽️ They officially have our stamp of approval! 🫶🏻

The food is consistently fresh and high‑quality, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the whole place has such a laid-back vibe, yet clean and welcoming atmosphere. We never felt rushed to leave and always felt welcome to return. We quickly became happy regulars — and definitely plan to remain customers. Thank you to the entire team for the great meals and wonderful service (didn’t get all the staff’s names but special shout‑out to Chelsea!) We mostly ordered the brunch options in particular which were all terrific with such high quality meats, bread and fruit! And as a self‑proclaimed coffee snob, I have to say… the coffee is genuinely fantastic! 10/10 ☕️

Loved the brunch here. So yummy food we ordered the yorkshire benny and cauliflower burger and they turned out to be amazing and the place had a great vibe 😊

I came this past Sunday to the Hard Bean for brunch with some extended family and I gotta say, food’s awesome!

With that being said, sadly I did notice some of the servers were talking really loud, about things that seemed unrelated to work.

Just a bunch of gossiping and chatter, which really made me feel like they don’t take their job seriously :( A few were even standing around using their cellular devices — disappointing! I understand a lot of youngsters work here but it’s just unprofessional. Break time is for phone use, I was saddened to see phones out when guests were in need of attention and service…

Towards the end of the meal, it took awhile for my server to come to my table to give me my bill. I understand Sunday brunch time is quite busy and things take time but I waited nearly 20 minutes for it so that felt a bit excessive!

The food was fantastic though, whole family including the baby enjoyed. I love their diversity and variety within their menu. We had a few vegetarians at the table and all our requests were accommodated.

Compliments to the chefs, but unfortunately I cannot say the same about the front of house staff — I would gladly come again if these issues were to be addressed! Because all in all it was a really lovely meal!

My husband and I came for brunch and enjoyed our visit. I made a reservation and we were seated right away, it was a bit busy.
There are many options on the menu and we’re both pleased with our choices.
Staff were friendly and service was quick.
There are table with benches and with movable chairs that can accommodate mobility devices. One seating area is up a few stairs.
The bathrooms are all single stall with an accessible bathroom.
The front entrance door does not have an accessible button.

We have been to the Hard Bean numerous times for Sunday brunch. We find the wait staff tremendous & the food excellent. We have found the front of house people useless & rude. While we appreciate Sundays can be busy with a waitlist, it's no excuse for being rude. If the wait is to be an hour, say so. Telling us the wait is 30 minutes, then on return, being rudely told it's still 30 minutes because we can't control when customers leave is inexcusable while there waiters stand around the front desk chatting. I suggest either replace the front of house people or train them better. Note: this is the third time we have had issues getting in on a Sunday.

I visited earlier today for brunch. Food was good but I noticed the staff talking very loud with each other and it also seemed like a lot of the workers were
just standing around and talking with each other. I did not appreciate this at all.

The food however was delicious, my wife and I enjoyed. It’s clear the kitchen staff are hard at work but I can’t say the same for servers and other staff, they seemed to be more concerned with chatting and gossiping than serving their guests.

I will come back only because of the food quality. Maybe next time I will just take the food to go

Their mimosas are pretty bad good but you wanna know what’s better? Their truffle fries! I am a truffle fry partaker and we ordered a round of them for the table and we all unanimously agreed that they were the best truffle fries we’ve ever hard. Our server was really sweet and very pretty (Sunday night), a drink of ours was forgetting and we didn’t need to remind her she noticed my friend didn’t have her espresso martini and she comped it with no second thought. I love a place that thinks about their customer first and their pocket second. It shows their character as a whole and it’s something anyone would appreciate. Loved this place.
