Unfortunately, it has come to this: I feel compelled to share my experience. This used to be our favorite place for a quick bite to eat and relax, but sadly, the service has gone downhill. We won’t be returning.

We had been waiting for our bill after ordering an extra meal to-go. The order sat under the heat lamp for 12 minutes while our server chatted with her friends and played with her hair. When she noticed us looking at the box, she finally grabbed it and brought it to our table.

When we mentioned how long it had been sitting there, her response was a dismissive, “Yeah ?.”

As someone with dairy and egg allergies, brunch can be a real struggle—especially since it’s my favorite cuisine. I miss having eggs and fried chicken, so I was pleasantly surprised to find specific vegan options here. The vegan egg was a solid substitute; while not exactly like the real thing, it was impressively close. The vegan sausage was decent, though it would be great if they offered dairy- and egg-free chicken sausage as well. The smash potatoes were my favorite, though next time I’ll remember to request them extra crispy.

The place was packed on a Sunday morning, but we were fortunate to snag a table as one opened up. With the rush, I hesitated to ask if items like the chicken sandwich could be made dairy- and egg-free or if the buns contained any allergens. Ideally, I would still like to enjoy chicken, bacon and some sandwiches if they can be made egg and dairy free. Might be wiser of me to call ahead next time. For anyone without dietary restrictions, the menu is an absolute treat, with plenty of mouth-watering options to choose from.

First time at The Hard Bean Brunch Co. It was a great experience. My partner and I both got the same Mimosa Flights. Our favourites were the “Pogmosa” and the “Watermelon Sugar High”. As well as both got the Yorkshire Benny for food. The Benny was super good. For dessert we got the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake which was so delicious. Atmosphere was very nice as well. Would recommend it all. Will come again!

We came into the restaurant as a walk-in and were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait which we were okay with. However after 35 minutes we went back to check our stop and were told another 5 minutes as other reservations had a priority over us which was fair. Unfortunately after 10 minutes we were basically told we’d have to wait another 15-20 minutes as they didn’t have enough room. We decided to leave as we had waited long enough

Service was excellent, good atmosphere but the food was pretty meh. I had scrambled eggs that were possibly the worst of my entire life. They were grey, crumbly & inedible. The mimosas have way too much juice. Not sure if I will go back again.

honestly, pretty cool place, great atmosphere, great staff that are super friendly, lots of tattoos everywhere which is a big plus in my books...

The wait time wasn't even that bad, maximum 10 minutes even though it was pretty busy there.

They made me an affogato and it was pretty good. The food was excellent, and the cool cucumber salad is a go to for me now but honestly the menu is pretty fantastic with the choices of food.

has Terminator would say it.... I'LL BE BACK!

Great experience! Our server Malia was very nice and on top of things checking in on us often. The food was great with alot of good complimenting flavors. Resaurant is very clean and looks nice, will be back!

Great place for brunch, they do reso's so make one if you're trying to go on the weekends. Good food and great service definitely give it a shot.

Delicious food and friendly staff. I ordered the Yorkshire Benny (delicious!), however, my husband ordered the breakfast mac and cheese and was quite underwhelmed. The mac and cheese looked like (and tasted like) it was from out of a box, which was a disappointment when the dish was nearly $20. We expected better with that price. While some of the dishes are quite amazing, there are others that fall short and feel like a bit of a rip off.

Nonetheless, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

Good quality was amazing , we ordered Big Salad with crunchy chicken and Rose spaghettini with meat bowls , in drinks coffee and royal hawai drink , all in all food and drinks were amazing

Lovely decor. Food and service sub par. Many other options in the area that are far superior.
