I Have been going to Hard Bean since it opened when I visit my family in Langley. Always great service and food. Good happy hour deals too! But the last visit on Thanksgiving weekend was nothing but exceptional. Our server Bobbi and bartender Kaileb were extremely professional, fun and welcoming. They made our pre Thanksgiving dinner afternoon a treat. Pretty sure I owe Kaileb a cannoli! Anyways come and hang out :) they also have a dog friendly patio!

Overall, I was quite happy with my experience at Hard Bean. Fantastic, fast service, and beautiful atmosphere. Food was pretty good but like others, I find it a tad pricey for what you get. I got the basic with blueberry sausage, scrambled eggs, sourdough toast and smash browns (crisp).

I will be back to try more!! Especially looking forward to trying all of the flights haha

We had the big breakfast and the Yorkshire Benny. The Benny says it comes soft-medium but came hard. The blueberry sausages were very good and our server was great, However do not get seated in the lower tables by the bar closest to the door. They are clearly overstaffed as the servers would congregate in the bar area and talking very loudly often with their backs super close to our table. I counted 8 servers rotating in and out just to talk not getting drink orders. Ask for the booths behind the kitchen if you go.

The restaurant was almost empty. All the waitresses were chatting with each other, literally doing nothing. I tried to call someone, apparently the host was calling the waitress. they never came to take my order. I had to leave the restaurant. Horrible service

We had a fabulous brunch there today. My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter had been there before, but it was a first time for the rest of us. It was so hard to choose what to eat because everything looked so good!

I’ve come to Hard Bean on multiple occasions and so far 2 of them stand out. Both nights , Reanna and Anita were closing. What an absolute riot these two are. Not only do they provide an exceptional service , but they are so friendly and humorous in doing so. Any night that these two are closing is bound to have you laughing out of your seat. 10/10

First time here. Visited the Willoughby Langley location with my fiancee’. Excellent food and atmosphere. Our server Ethan was very attentive and helpful. Has a great personality to match and enjoyed some laughter with him.
I had the Southern Chicken and waffle. My fiancee’ had the tiramisu waffle. We shared both with each other and both were amazingly delicious. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Kind service and great ambience. Chicken and waffle was my favorite. We had a minor issue at our first visit and the management went beyond and above to take care of it. Reservation is recommended as the restaurant is quite packed all day. Our server today, forgot to take the name, was really cute and adorable.

Did a quick lunch with my mom here and it was awesome. Ordered a Sangria that was beautifully made and came out so fast! It was on happy hour and so stiff! Good portion for $9! Hailey was our server and she was so friendly and nice. She always checked in on us, was so welcoming of my doggo. I love how they are dog friendly ❤️ truly makes a difference cause you can enjoy your meal without having stress or guilt about leaving your fur baby at home. The only thing was the salad was a tiny bit dry, but otherwise it was lovely. Food was super good! The chilli chicken is amazing

Unfortunately, it has come to this: I feel compelled to share my experience. This used to be our favorite place for a quick bite to eat and relax, but sadly, the service has gone downhill. We won’t be returning.

We had been waiting for our bill after ordering an extra meal to-go. The order sat under the heat lamp for 12 minutes while our server chatted with her friends and played with her hair. When she noticed us looking at the box, she finally grabbed it and brought it to our table.

When we mentioned how long it had been sitting there, her response was a dismissive, “Yeah ?.”
