Ok pub in a quiet neighborhood. Food and pricing were alright. The servers were very pleasant. Seatings were also comfy. The place looks down on huge sports facility so can offer some entertainment if there is any activity going on at the time of your visit.

Bring a warm jacket because it's cold in this place. Food is very small potions and extremely overpriced.

went to pub for Super bowl. Had 3 different servers each one asked us to cash out for the next server. Nachos were very good but Steak sandwich which stated a 6 oz Tenderloin was 3 oz FAT!
NBot the best experience

When I’m in the Brookswood area this is my go to. They treat you extremely well there and if you’re a regular they go above and beyond.

Food wise the soup and sandwich is a simple “wow.” If you read my other reviews you will see I am not biased. They are really that good.

I always double meat my sandwiches because honestly that’s my favorite part. The soup is exceptional. I prefer the chicken chowder and there have been a few others that have been great. On occasion I’ll wait until the soup of the day changes; they’re always good but I have preferences. In the end you can’t go wrong with a home made restaurant quality soup.

Went in and had the Game burger and onion rings.
Game burger had bison venison and elk so I thought it would be neat to try.
Burger was very good but it didnt taste much different that regular burgers and was a little overcooked.
Onion rings the same as they were a little cold and tasted a little overdone.
Food was a little slow to come but not worth complaining about.
Place wasnt too busy fortunately.
The meal was pretty good but at $33 I thought was quite overpriced.

Excellent food, excellent service. Tenderloin was cooked perfectly and the blue cheese crust on top was the perfect way to finish it off. Scallop risotto was very creamy and scallops were cooked perfectly. Crab and cream cheese stuffed mushrooms were a large portion and had a great lemon flavor. Caesar salad was fresh with plenty of bacon and fresh croutons. Cool view overlooking the curling arena.

I went with my boyfriend and the atmosphere was okay, not the best but whatever. The service is horrible, they don't come to the table if you don't call them. After waiting a while for some fries and calamari THE fries WERE SUPER COLD, as if they had been put in the fridge after frying them. The only thing we ordered was fries and calamari , the calamari was not concacent at all. Needless to say, we will never go back.

Gave the Horse and Ryder a try after our son's hockey game... service was on point and the food was fantastic... forgot to grab a pic of the calamari before we devoured the plate! Hubby had the Lodge bacon and cheese burger and I had the beef dip (swapped the horseradish aioli with garlic aioli)... we will be back to try other items. Others at the table had nachos which also looked fabulous.

Kid-friendliness: We had a table of 8 adults and 6 kids.... the adults were able to chat at the table while the boys played with the hockey table...
