I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Lodge Steakhouse in Langley, BC, to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was a truly memorable experience!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the perfect tone for our celebration. The decor exudes a rustic charm, and the ambiance is both cozy and elegant – a great combination for a special occasion.
Our waiter, Nathan, was exceptional. He was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His recommendations were spot on, and he added a personal touch to our dining experience that made us feel valued.
One of the highlights of the evening was the tableside Caesar salad prepared by Lucas. It was not only a delightful spectacle but also delicious, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and presentation.
For the main courses, my husband ordered the porterhouse steak, while I indulged in the beef tenderloin. Both cuts were cooked to perfection – they literally melted in our mouths! The presentation of each dish was impeccable, making it almost too beautiful to eat, but we couldn't resist.
To top off the evening, our celebration was made even more special when Nathan surprised us with a beautifully presented crème brûlée dessert for my husband, complimentary for his birthday. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness from the staff truly made the occasion feel extraordinary.
Overall, the Lodge Steakhouse exceeded our expectations with its delicious food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We can't wait to return!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Lodge Steak House for my birthday dinner with my wife, and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch — the warm atmosphere, the incredible food, and the outstanding service. Our waiter, Nathan, was exceptionally kind and attentive. He made sure we felt special and well taken care of throughout the evening, which really added to the celebration.
A special shoutout to the sous chef, Lucas, who personally prepared a tableside Caesar salad for us — it was absolutely delicious! He was super personable and made the experience feel even more special with his friendly energy and attention to detail.
The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were full of flavor, and the drinks were awesome — creative, well-balanced, and exactly what we were hoping for.
It was a birthday dinner to remember. We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I have made this place our anniversary tradition. We went there last year and lived it so much that I made reservations this year as well. They always make it special for us. This year it was bellini's waiting on the table when we arrived...perfection! The food is anyways amazing, steals grilled to perfection and the sides are always spot on. The drinks menu is so fun and always delicious. The atmosphere is super chill and the service is always magnificent. We had Steph as our server and she was on point! This will be our spot from now on! Thank you for always making it special 💗

The good - Beautiful dining room, appears to be recently renovated - Very friendly staff - Unconventional location - Delicious crab cakes
The bad - Our server seemed new and unaccustomed to fine dining. She presented San Pel like it was wine, skipped my order and I had to tell her that we weren't done ordering. Interrupted a conversation to make an irrelevant comment. She was nice but seemed very green.
The ugly - We ordered two porterhouse steaks, cooked medium rare. When the steaks came out they were uncarved, and blue rare. We asked for potato pave instead of mash. Which we didn't receive. What we got looked like a thinly sliced version of scallop potatoes and was served at almost room temperature.
All of these hiccups added up to a pretty embarrassing situation for me as I had talked up the Lodge to my boss prior to us dining. Overall it was a really disappointing experience. Almost $600 with no alcohol and I didn't even get what I ordered. For that price I could have eaten at Gotham or Elisa. Lesson learned.
Here's to hoping that The Lodge makes it right.

The Pork Tomahawk was exceptional. Very underrated menu item IMO. Service was excellent too. My partner’s steak was a little chewy, but good flavour to make up for it. Additionally, the restaurant is owned and operated by the head chef, which is always refreshing to hear given the corporate nature of most steakhouses in the Lower Mainland. Would recommend!

We had the most amazing girls’ night out at The Lodge Steakhouse in Langley! I was genuinely surprised by how elegant and beautiful the restaurant is, it has such a great vibe, perfect for a fun night out.
The experience was unforgettable, starting with the tableside Caesar salad where they made the dressing from scratch right in front of us, such a cool touch! And the lobster… WOW. Hands down the best lobster I’ve ever had! The sauce was absolutely to die for, and my friend, who had never tried lobster before, is now officially obsessed.
The drinks menu is incredible, honestly, it was hard to choose because everything looked amazing, and every cocktail we tried was perfection. And of course, the steak was nothing short of 5 stars , it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We couldn’t choose which desert to get, so we got a few of them to try! I can’t tell you which one I liked most, because they were all DELICIOUS!!!
For the amount of food and quality of food and experience, the prices are incredibly reasonable. I can’t recommend this place enoughwe’re already planning our next visit!
