Butter Pecan Buttertarts….perfection! Awesome filling nutty and not sweet! Flaky thick puff pastry crust to die for! Bought some other take and bake items and I’m definitely looking forward to trying them out! Definitely recommend this establishment and will come again next time I’m on the Lower Mainland!

Super disappointed! I bought 4 pies and had high hopes for their “house special” chicken pot pie. The flavour was ok and the top and sides of the crust were perfect. However, the bottom was way too soggy and mushy, probably because the filling released too much liquid. I followed the recipe by the book, but it didn’t work well. Such a pity, because I live nearby and wanted to try other flavours. Not coming back.

I cannot recommend The Pie Hole. There were multiple flies crawling on the pies. The food was not kept in a contained display, so bugs that came in the open door were all over it. Only the refrigerated pies were enclosed from bugs. I was so excited to try this restaurant, but after seeing the unsanitary conditions, I will never be able to eat here. Who knows how food is stored in the back if there are flies crawling on the food displayed to customers!
Really friendly, good affordable coffee!

Really great service but the pies crust feels very stale and hard all the time. Feel like they reheated leftovers. Pretty expensive too

In the past, we could get bangers and mash pies. Haven't been able to get that for years. It's not even in the cook book. Please post it so I can make it at home.

If you love pie, this place is an absolute must! 🥧✨
They’ve got everything from a classic apple pie to amazing creations like pumpkin pecan apple or cherry crumble. Every pie is packed with flavour, with the perfect crust and generous fillings that are truly worth it.
The best part? You can grab a Take & Bake Pie to enjoy fresh out of your own oven, or treat yourself to an individual slice with a coffee right on the spot. They also have hand pies, perfect for sharing or gifting.
Honestly, if you want to surprise your family, bring something special to a gathering, or simply treat yourself, this is the place. Don’t leave without trying at least one!

A very nice place in 50s-60s North American style. Peaceful and family friendly atmosphere, quite a variety of pies and cakes. Though not so big choice of milkshakes and ice cream. Ice cream is pretty decent, serving size is fine, but nothing really fancy. Fair prices, especially taking into account overall expensiveness of the Vancouver metropolitan area. So yeah, I definitely recommend this place to visit for a lunch or just an ice cream time with children (or without).

I wanted to love this place. The stuffed smores cookie was good, the spinach pie was good, the chicken carbonara pie was not very good. It's mostly only meat, not really enough carbonara at all. It was really just dark chicken and peas. I personally hate dark chicken, so I was not impressed after cutting it open and only seeing dark chicken and peas. I took a few bites and it was not seasoned well at all, could of used more sauce, more veggies. For the price i paid I was not happy. Ive bought better savory pies from Safeway and save on foods.
The lady working greeting me about 10 minutes after walking in and didn't really give off a kind demeanor. She was not interacting with customers as they were looking at what to purchase, just told me the price to pay and that was it.

Bought a Banana Cream pie and an Apple pie recently. Pricey and very disappointing.
We've gotten gift cards twice for the pie hole. Both times we've been underwhelmed by the taste and texture. Not to mention the cost. The crusts are decent. The fillings on the savory pies are bland and simple. They seem mass produced. But catchy name. This is an edit from the next day. We bought 4 items to eat up the gift card. Just tried the key lime pie. Lime filling was decent. Whipped cream was not. Save on foods was fresher and better at 1/3 of the price.
