Had a wonderful experience at Udupi Adda! The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. The staff were professional, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Authentic South Indian food—my South Indian soul was so happy to see the filter coffee! I liked it a lot.
We visited around 7 pm and while the place wasn’t crowded, it was still busy. We ordered:
• Manchi soup (5/5)
• Idly, vada, poori combo (5/5) – Hands down the best sambar to go with idly and vada. The idlis were so soft that we ordered extra! The vada was crispy outside and soft inside. I expected the poori to be oily and soggy,...

Update on 16th Feb 2025
We have been here five times since the restaurant opened and notice a steady decline in consistency. When we ate on the 15th, the chutney had too much salt, the manchurian was without any salt and the dosa and idli batter also had very little salt. The parotta was nicely made, but kurma lacked balance. Hope they address the consistency and balance issues and succeed in the long run!
Food was authentic Mangalore style and yummy....
