Ordered online at 5:45 when we arrived at 6:20 for our order it wasn’t ready even though few were in the restaurant. Got the order at 6:50. Sashimi and sushi were room temperature. I know owner ship has changed, maybe a few times over the years but tonight was very disappointing

Don't waste your money here.
I was there for a short time as I had to leave for the movie. I sat down to eat for 10 min & asked for a bag. My meal cost $28 including tip. A chef shouted ‘It would cost 25 cents’. That’s not a good service. I will not go back!!!

This is by far my favorite place for Sushi. You definitely get your money's worth on the amount and quality of the food. The servers are great and always greet you with a smile.

Went for sushi here before a movie. Service was prompt and friendly in this small cozy restaurant. The food was of superb quality and tasted great! Perfect spot to get a bit to eat before a movie or if you are hungry. I'd definitely recommend Waka Sushi.
Food used to be fresh and great years ago but not anymore. Now when you order rolls with tempura in them they put old previously deep fried tempura from the fridge. They are cold and not crispy.
They last two times I ordered for pick up, I specifically asked if the tempura for inside my rolls could be deep fried freshly. The lady said yes. So I came in early because I didn’t want them to sit and then before I left the parking lot I I tried them. Both times I still got old tempura! Today, the second time I asked them to remake the rolls and told them I didn’t mind waiting for fresh ones.
The man cooking rolled his eyes at me and complained that I should have asked over the phone to make them fresh. I told him I did, and this was the second time I still didn’t get fresh. He huffed and acted like making fresh food was impossible. I paid $26 for two rolls and after it was remade. The new rolls had old tempura that was re-fried but wasn’t fully warmed it.
This place service sucks and their food has gone down hill.

I ordered assorted sashimi and party tray A, and these dishes were delivered in a very fresh state. I had a delicious dinner with my family and had a very happy time. The California roll, which my daughter loves, was filled with ingredients, and the sashimi was so thick that each bite was very satisfying. I will definitely order again!
