Wendel's Bookstore & Cafe

There should be a review section for the book store. The eatery is fine but the book store lady is so unwelcoming and today was quite rude. It’s not the first time

extremely rude receptionist needs to learn how to talk to customers and clients.

Everyone is friendly but it's really busy. The girl was pumping out the coffee but it still took way too long for a Caramel Macchiato. 15 mins? Don't come here for a quick drink.

We went to Wendel’s Bookstore & Cafe hoping to grab some lunch, but the line was almost out of the door and it was way too busy on a Saturday. We came back later in the afternoon to grab some coffee and dessert and it was still busy so we gave up. We did check out the small bookstore section though, which was nicely organized. But it did feel a bit clusterphobic with the queue and diners eating near the entrance and we didn’t stay long.

Expensive but delicious.

A bookstore and full service cafe - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, desserts, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, delicious mac and cheese, gluten free options. Seating inside and outside but it gets VERY busy and crowded. Food is excellent. Service is average.

Turkey sandwich is a shambles, don’t get it. Salad was bigger than the sandwich. Not worth the $

The food is tasty but the past few times I’ve been here the staff are unfriendly, borderline rude. Will take my business elsewhere.

A lot of tasty gluten free options and an incredibly cozy spot! It does tend to get busy, though!

upon arrival, the vibrant colours surrounding the cafe present it as an amazing atmosphere. the books moving in with the cafe creates an atmosphere like no other. Ordered a white mocha, absolutely phenomenal. service was great. 10/10 would recommend

Great desserts, drinks, and atmosphere. I especially love the connecting Bookstore. It's always fun. It can get cold in the fall sitting anywhere near the doors, but still a nice place
