Amazing food and atmosphere. However, such slow service every time we have visited. Almost 20 mins to get one tea after ordering

I just really love this bookstore 🥰

Wendel’s continues to show why it is a Fort Langley legend. We ordered a short rib Mac & cheese, chicken & berries salad, prawn tacos, carrot cake, and two handcrafted beverages for $81 all in, including tax and tip. The food is always quality and the serving team is friendly. We highly recommend.

Wendels is the perfect place to go in Fort Langley. It's super cozy and the food is delicious! Their mac n cheese and iced tea are my favourites!

Not only did I wait over 10 min for a bowl of soup to go... the front staff made coffee for the kitchen staff and they all waited around drinking the coffee wearing the gloves they were preparing everyone's food with... while my 1/2 a bowl of soup for $14 sat off to the side... I was the first person in line now 5 others were waiting for their food as they enjoyed their cup of coffee all gathered in the kitchen... absolutely terrible service and the cashier had the worst attitude... like I was putting her out for grabbing my $14 soup. The worst service I have ever recieved in any of the stores in Fort Langley... going forward we will only going to Little Donkey who actually appreciate their customers. I wonder if the health board is interested to see if the follow the glove policy? 🤔

Today, when my husband and I came in, we specifically mentioned that we would be dining in, yet our order was prepared to-go. When we politely asked to have it served on a plate, the staff member (we learned her name is Julia) placed it on the plate in a rather upset manner. It was disappointing to experience such an attitude at a place we regularly visit and enjoy. I hope this feedback helps encourage more attentive and friendly service. As customers, it’s unpleasant to feel the frustration of someone who doesn’t seem to enjoy their job.

Baking is delicious, we had a couple items but the sandwiches were whack, turkey sandwich for $20 is cold one little piece of turkey on it, it looked like it was for a kids lunch, never again.

I’d give them a 5 star, because the food and the service was great! But the woman running the book store side of things was a different story. When we were done eating, my wife and I were looking at the books, I picked up a book I thought my wife might like and all I said was “oh I think it may be a series” judging by the other books advertised on the back of it. The woman at the till in a grumpy, condescending tone said “it’s not a series” while she just stared at the computer screen. I was kind of confused as to what I did to irritate her and what made her think I wanted her poor attitude. I was gonna buy a book, but after that, no way! I get it no one wants to be working but don’t make it everyone else’s problem.

Extremely poor quality bookmarks for an exorbitant amount of money. Very disappointed that the vinyl bookmarks were priced at $12.
