Wendal’s Bookstore & Cafe is a charming, welcoming spot that blends good food with a love for books. The menu offers delicious options, the coffee is consistently great, and the cozy ambience makes it a perfect place to unwind, read, or enjoy a quiet meal. I personally recommend their banana bread it's moist and sweet.
I think they're much friendlier to the locals, so I'll assume the lack of smiles and jovial greeting is that and not because every time I'm here I'm the only coloured person. The food is mid and the flavors are basic. Maybe it's cause there are Korean cafes killing the eggs benny and brunch game with actual flavour. Also the bookstore the lady is not pleasant, again it's the attitude from no greeting upon seeing me to no smile when buying. I don't...
