“Stopped in to eat on our drive thru town. It was 3:00 & we just missed the buffet.
My husband had the black bean chicken, it was really good & chicken so tender with lots of vegetables. I had the honey chicken that was very sweet but good flavor, it did have a lot of breading on each piece. Place looks like a mom & pop place which is ok they were friendly & service was good.”

“Travelling through town and was looking for something quick for supper while we relaxed in our room. Ordered two small, Deluxe and the Hawaiian. They were both fantastic. Deep dish is the way to go. I usually pick thin crust put that pizza was loaded. A must stop if you are in the neighbourhood, it's worth the drive it it isn't.”

“I recently stayed at this motel and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements made by the new owner, who took over just three days ago. The owner is extremely caring and personally ensures that everything is up to standard. The AC was deep cleaned, and I had a great night’s sleep on a new mattress with fresh bed sheets. The room also had new lamps, adding a nice touch to the ambiance.

The bathroom has been partially renovated, and the entire room was spotless—no bugs, just a clean, comfortable space. The owner even offered me a complimentary tea at the restaurant downstairs, which was a lovely gesture.

While there are still a few remnants of the previous, less careful management, the owner is clearly dedicated to making this motel a better place. If you’ve seen old reviews, don’t let them deter you—this is a new chapter for the motel, and it’s in excellent hands now. Highly recommend!

Rooms: Some stuff is indeed old, but as I said these rooms are undergoing renovations.

Walkability: A lot of stuff in this rather small city is in walkable distance from the hotel.

Food & drinks: We ate at the curry corner downstairs, very good food in big portions for a reasonable price, nice staff in the restaurant and hotel, always smiling.”
