Gluten-Friendly options! We were unaware of the opening hours when we showed up exactly at closing. The server welcomed us in regardless and we were not rushed. We were treated like valued guests for our entire dining experience. The atmosphere inside was delightful; always something for the eye to discover. Our fish and chips were tasty (we had the salmon, lingcod and the sturgeon respectively) we were happy to find the sturgeon was locally and ethically sourced. The calamari was unique and tasty! The best part was that the batter was gluten-friendly! So hard to find good fish and chips for gluten intolerance! We would definitely recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, service and tasty food.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-friendly batter!

My wife and I came here to watch the sunset and have dinner. What an amazing spot and view. Is the food a little pricy? Yes, but if you factor in the atmosphere, it is completely worth the extra few dollars for that view - especially at sunset.I read a hilarious review on here before coming about the fries being soggy, and I can tell you that they were perfect (see photo). My crispy chicken burger was also delightful. Nice soft bunch, good flavour, nice and moist. Is it the best fried sandwich I’ve ever had? No - but it was exactly what it needed to be. My wife got the fried fish sandwich which was also very nice.My problem with this restaurant has to do with the drinks. First of all, damn are they expensive - second of all they are god awful. I wouldn’t pay 1/3 of the price for what I got. There was supposed to be tequila in both of the drinks I got, and I know for damn sure there wasn’t. I told the waitress but she assured me that there was tequila. But I couldn’t taste it at all - and I have a very good pallet. So I definitely felt jipped and lied to. The pina colada had large chunks of ice, I had asked for it to be made with tequila instead of rum, and again could not taste the tequila at all. There was nothing pleasant about any of the drinks I got.So my advice would be to go watch a beautiful sunset here, have a nice dinner and stick with water. Do not get a mixed drink.

End of Summer season and few staff left working. However, we had a delicious meal with great friendly staff and a beautiful setting. The manager is amazing and keeps everyone happy regardless of staff shortages. And Coen, her young helper, was delightful and cute as a button! The lamb burger is perfect, and the fries are very good too! I tried the ginger margarita, and it didn't disappoint either. The prices are very reasonable and we will definitely be back! ?

Our last minute dinner plans changed and we found out that The Boardwalk does takeout fish and chips. Each time we have been in Lund, in the off season, we have missed out on trying this establishment. While we didn't eat in, I could see that it had a steady evening with most outside tables filled with happy customers. We had their salmon fish dinner, and a cod fish dinner and it was excellent. Fish was perfectly cooked and their fries were delicious. The tartar sauce and coleslaw that came with it were good too. Next time we are in Lund we will definitely go out to dinner here and enjoy eating on their deck. I am sorry we missed eating there more often. Fish and chips are the only takeout item they do but the dining menu looks great.

Are soggy French fries IN? Weir, last time my daughter and I travelled from Westview to Lund for a meal, we had to eat at the Boardwalk. We ordered a chicken burger and fries for my daughter and fish n’chips with coleslaw ( 1 tbsp). Both meals were served with SOGGY FRIES. I mean you could take the French fry and hold it out and it would bend down like a worm. We did not complain, just finished everything but the fries. For $24.00 each we expected better. How many of you like ‘soggy chips’? Dined in.

Seating server wasn't paying attention, we waited 15 minutes in the please wait to be seated area and then another couple walked up and after two minutes they were going to be given a table ahead of us.I ordered fish & chips with 1 halibut and 1 lingcod fillet. Fillets we different shapes, but taste and texture wise, both seemed like regular cod. Halibut I've had previously is much firmer.Lovely sunset viewThe server that took out order and served us gave good service.

Tried to go for lunch and asked politely if we could sit by the water, the waiter was instantly rude and told us to go to the back of the restaurant. Then gave scoot signs to us. Chased us out to the back and we kept going.

Had a very nice and tasty seafood poutine. Service was excellent as was the view from where we were sitting facing the sea and the marina. Happy memories of visiting Lund and looking forward to returning one day soon!

I'd say the say the food didn't live up to the hype. The halibut was very good, but the tartar sauce was....different. Portions weren't very big considering the price. The Sangria wasn't very good. Honestly, the ambiance and the hard-working servers really saved the experience for me.

Food and setting equally spectacular. Calamari was unreal. You won't be disappointed unless you don't go.
