Alina Cafe and Eatery

This is a FIND in Maple Ridge. Lots of vegan options. Everything made fresh. We had salad rolls and a healthy salad bowl with vegan pepper steak bits. All was delicious! Topped off with a lavender latte. We will be back!!! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-11

I really wanted to try this cafe seeing that they offered Poke (my favorite and go to for takeout) although it was good I was disappointed that lettuce was used as filler instead of just rice in my Ahi Tuna Poke bowl. I have never had one with lettuce and thought the price was high for so much lettuce. On a positive note it was good to have the dressing on the side as the sauce portion is generous and the brown rice was very nicely cooked with good texture, often not easy to do.

Lemon grass beef sandwich had a light taste. Very good at keeping the flavour alive. Not overwhelming, at all. Shrimp wonton soup complimented by the sandwich.

Was craving banh mi and am new to town, saw the sign outside and decided to give it a try. Photos outside look promising but unfortunately did not deliver.... while the sandwich was ok, it definitely was not a banh mi by any means. The bread was not toasted, no pate, no viet mayo, no hot peppers, barely any chicken and the flavour was not authentic. Very disappointed. $24 for 2 sandwiches.

A delightful, friendly and delicious place. I spent three hours visiting friends, enjoying various drinks and food, while finding the cafe quiet and enjoyable throughout the time. Parking needed to be changed due to only being 1 hour max. I would happily come here again anytime I’m in the neighbourhood!

One of my absolute favorite spots in Maple Ridge!

Alina’s Café is a gem—always spotless with a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I’m especially grateful for their amazing vegan menu—it’s not easy to find healthy, fast, and flavourful plant-based options, but Alina’s delivers every time.

Their customer service is top-notch—always friendly and helpful. I also love the little extras, like 10% off their bahn mis on Tuesdays, and their selection of vegan and gluten-free treats is fantastic. Oh, and don’t forget the bubble tea—a perfect pairing with any meal.

Highly recommend for anyone who values clean eating, great service, and a relaxed café vibe. Thanks to the Alina’s team for consistently going above and beyond!
