Went to buy chips & salsa. Excellent service and the lady knew her products. Nice selection. A pleasure to support a small local business, with good product and service.

Best Mexican in BC, probably in Canada! This tacos have some love to it!!!
So many amazing Mexican groceries here. My husband and I have eaten here a few times and haven't been disappointed. The food is fresh & yummy and the staff are nice & helpful.
They also stock pre-cooked salsa & guacamole, and I believe some meats, too. Makes for an easy grab & go taco night at home.
Sorry, forgot to take pictures of the food.

Delicious food. Very big portions. Pricey but worth it. Will definitely return.
Really disappointed in the lack of clarity in the store hours.
Clearly other people experienced the same thing.
We made part of our plan to drive to Maple Ridge for a hike to try these highly reviewed tacos.
We called ahead on Saturday at 4pm and their phone doesn’t work and on Skip The Dishes it says they are closed.
On Google and on their posted store hours it says they close at 7pm on Friday.
I understand it’s Easter so maybe there is an adjustment in hours, how am I supposed to know if it’s not on the website or the phone doesn’t have any automated message?
I hate to give a low review of a place I never tried, but how do you expect customers to try your food if you don’t honour your hours? Based on other people’s experience it’s not the first time.
First Timer!!! Will be Back. That was Incredible!!!!!
Best Mexican place in Maple Ridge.
The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly.
My Fav: Quesa-birrias (not in the menu, but a hidden gem)
A must try
**UPDATE**
I stand by my review, as it reflects my honest experience with the customer service I received. Reviews exist so customers can share their experiences, both good and bad.
You are correct about one thing—I will absolutely take my business elsewhere. As a customer, my expectations are very simple: basic respect and decent customer service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during my visits.
We first tried Lupita’s Tacos last year. The food was good, but the service from the woman working the front was terrible. She was rude, cold, and not welcoming at all. We were soo happy to tell her that we had heard about the place through some friends but she wasn't interested in engaging us and she wasn't even busy at the time.
Because the food was good, we decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again. I watched how she talked to some people amd im actually surprised no one has set her straight because she is extremely condescending. Not sure if she owns the place and because Maple Ridge people are so welcoming that she acts so entitled and rude. My birria tacos didn’t come with consommé like they did the first time, and nobody mentioned that the dish would be different. The food itself is still good, but the attitude from the woman working there completely ruins the experience. You do have a girl working there but she got my order wrong.
What really stood out to me this time was the difference in how customers were treated. In my experience, she was noticeably friendlier and more welcoming to white customers while being short and rude with others. That didn’t sit right with me, especially in a place serving Mexican food. The irony isn’t lost there.
I can see how busy they are and the positive reviews that the business is doing well, so the $50 we spent on tacos probably won’t matter much. But after two visits and the same rude treatment, we won’t be back.
The food is good, but customer service matters, and feeling unwelcome as a customer isn’t something I’m willing to pay for again.
