The Montrose Local serves a variety of delicious dishes. The menu is so varied and the food is very flavourful. The restaurant offers a tasty burger with a nice pink center and caramelized onions. The falafel wrap and bowl are standout favorites, as are the pakoras and cookies. The Thai red curry rice bowl with prawns and chicken souvlaki rice bowl are also highly recommended. The Montrose Local also serves a Jerk Chicken bowl, which boasts an excellent blend of spices and a perfectly balanced heat. The wonton soup is also amazing and absolutely unreal. The chai is out of this world. Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is fun. They have daily specials and fun events like movie nights. The Montrose Local is a great dining spot on Mayne Island.
