I had lunch at The Montrose Local while visiting the island today and sat in the charming outside area with its eclectic mix of furniture. The server was very kind and joyful and brought everything I needed. The kitchen was gracious about substitutions and additions with no extra charge. I had the taco crunch wrap with the smashed potatoes as a side and the food was delicious and filling. Definitely recommend and would visit again!
If you're ever on Mayne, the Montrose Local is a must try. The food was so incredible we will definitely be coming back in the future to get another taste! The staff are super lovely and friendly, lunch here has been such a bright on our trip.
had dinner here on a night they were short-staffed and despite how busy they were, we still received excellent service! our food was cooked perfectly and we didn't have to wait long for service
