Just keep driving… half portion of soup(which tasted worse then a can of Campbells) and crazy price for the portions of our chicken wraps ( which where soaked in sauce and tasted like fish)…. Don’t even waste your money

Thirty minutes to be acknowledged and to get a cup of coffee and over an hour to get our food. It was busy.. all twelve tables were full so I can understand the wait if anyone would have just said hey sorry we are short staffed etc.. but no apologies, they gave zero crap how their customers were waiting to be even greeted. Food was sub par but not awful we were starving by the time it came. Would not recommend but if you are travelling through on a Sunday there is literally no where else to go....

Typical roadstop type restaurant. The special today was a crispy chicken burger. It was a large chicken nugget type patty. My husband enjoyed his clubhouse though, and the fries were great and nice and hot/fresh.

The food at Heartland is real food amazingly prepared, freshly done with just the right seasoning . Not just your general bar and grill every day thing. Loved it very much.

Stopped in for a bite to eat. Took the server over 10 minutes to greet us. We had to our own menus. The wings were absolutely disgusting. Over cooked and had a funky taste. They actually made me sick.. The gravy is so salty and tastes like cheap packaged gravy.

Keeping in mind that this is a family oriented restaurant attached to a hotel in a small town, and not some high end city steak house, it was certainly decent. Service was good, pricing reasonable, it was clean and the menu had a good selection with kids offerings available.

Wonderful! Don’t let the dated exterior put you off, this is small-town Canadian comfort food at its best! Awesome food, big portions, friendly folks and a wonderful mountain view to top it all off.

I was met by very friendly staff, who almost immediately came and took my order. The breakfast I had, was the best I’ve had in awhile, and I eat a lot of breakfast.

Terrible service. Was laughed at when I commented on how bad my burger was

Dang your missing out if you don’t stop for breakfast here
what was $20 only surmounted to the best and BIGGEST breakfast i have had the pleasure of paying for in this economy.
could feed me for days - and that’s saying something with the portion sizes you get in this day and age for the ungodly prices.
plus the waitress was an absolute gift and professional sweetheart - so there was that plus
just passing through, but will always stop here if i find myself in McBride again
