I am a regular weekly customer at this restaurant. Today was an incredibly poor visit. I was incorrectly charge $1.50 more than I should have. When this was brought to the attention of 2 cashiers, they had a rudeness and smirk on their faces that was infuriating. Their first answer was that it was taxes. Well, as a business owner myself, and someone whom understands basic math, this was not correct. The second answer was the the classic breakfast I ordered had a higher price than what was advertised on their menu. This was also incorrect. I spoke with the manager who did admit it was wrong. But instead of handing me the money they ripped me off for, they stand around the till looking very puzzled. I finally walked out as this wasn't about the money, but that it is about the principal of the matter. I won't be back which is disappointing as it's always been one of my favorite breakfast spots. I hope my $1.50 was worth losing a regular paying customer.

Restaurant was clean. Service friendly and received our order quickly We ate inside the restaurant and they even delivered our order to us. We had Mamma burger combo's. So yummy. Just right amount of mayo etc and fries good too.

One of tje older A&W in small town BC Canada. So you get good quality and local friendly service. What else do you need. You will have to head down town from the freeway but only a 5 minute drive. There is no traffic ever except maybe during the music festival. Easy access back to the freeway without retracing your route.
Vegetarian options: Lettuce wrap on request
Parking: 20 spots or so

OK I don’t have high expectations for a fast food restaurant, but I unfortunately had to use the bathroom and it was disgustingly dirty when we went there. The tables were also dirty, and the floors were dirty. It made me not want to eat the food but I was on route to Alberta so we just sucked it up.

Ordered Teen burgers and received double Teen burgers… ordered onion rings, they don’t have onion rings .. root beers were watery, ratio of syrup to carbonation was way off. Front counter person was not apologetic and appeared to care less… Cleanliness of the restaurant gets a fail and both the washrooms were disgusting! Men’s toilet was overflowing … very unsatisfactory visit! Merritt A&W
Ordered Teen burgers, we received double Teen burgers and charged us for double Teen burgers, also over seasoned. Root Beer was watery not calibrated properly. Service was flat, unapologetic, unfriendly. Lobby was dirty. Both men’s and lady’s washrooms were filthy.. men’s toilet was overflowing. Poor representation of this company, your neglect hurts all A&W franchises! Head Office needs to do a visit!
