I just wanted to leave a huge shoutout to Kelsey, our server tonight at Boston Pizza. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Super friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the whole experience better. She checked in the perfect amount, made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and had such a great attitude the whole time.
It’s not often you get service that stands out this much, but Kelsey truly did. Boston Pizza is lucky to have her! I’ll definitely be asking for her again next time.
Highly recommend her if you’re coming in!

I come to BP often and usually have great experiences, which is why tonight left me feeling frustrated but also torn, because I do understand mistakes happen.
I ordered a pizza with no onions. Simple enough. When it came out, it had onions cooked underneath the cheese, so there was no way to just pick them off. I figured I’d wait for our server to come back so I could mention it. As a server myself, I get it. things get missed, tickets get rushed, and errors happen. But the restaurant was quiet, and I was sitting with two friends, yet our server never came back to check on us.
I ended up not eating while my friends finished their meals. When the server finally came back, it was just to ask if we needed containers. Before I could even say anything, she walked away to grab them. When she returned, I told her what happened. She apologized and went to speak with the manager, but I overheard her laughing and saying, “omg that was so my fault,” which honestly didn’t feel great to hear in the moment.
She brought the bill back with no offer to remake the pizza, no check-in, not even a small discount for the inconvenience. I paid, and then she came back again to tell me she had actually overcharged me. At that point, I was already annoyed, and it only added to my frustration.
I want to be clear: I’m not mentioning any names because I’m not trying to get her in trouble or bash her on the internet. That’s not my intention at all. This happened around 9-ish on Saturday night, and I just want to give honest feedback based on how everything unfolded.
I really do understand that people have off days — I’ve had them myself. But this situation could’ve been handled differently. I shouldn’t have had to sit there unsure if I should speak up about wanting my food remade. That’s something I feel should’ve been offered without me needing to ask.
I love BP and normally leave happy, so I’m hoping this can just be taken as constructive feedback from someone who genuinely enjoys coming here.

Even though today is wings day, the staff told me there was no such promotion. Then he said he would check, asked the manager, and the manager told me they had changed wings day to Friday. This is not true, and they also overcharged me. I will be leaving a negative review for the restaurant on Google because of this.

Perfect place for lunch or dinner or go to the bar for drinks and watch the sports games, Tuesday is pasta night. My husband and I have been here many times over the last eight years and have never had a bad meal here, the staff are super friendly and the environment is clean and now with Christmas decorations.
Tyler was very welcoming, he saw us at the door and came right away to seat us. He constantly check on us. He also helped me pick a drink to have.

This location in Merritt B.C. is by far one of the most friendliest locations I've visited with my family. My kids were treated like gold and it was awesome to see such personable Hosts and waiters/waitresses who speak fluent English during both of our visits to this establishment during our stay in Merritt. The food was good, drinks were cold and the kids were happy. Thank you for keeping this restaurant the way I've always remembered it to be! If only Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland could do the same 🙂
