Cocos Chicken and Sushi is a hidden gem serving delicious food with exceptional service. The restaurant offers generous portions of fresh ingredients, including outstanding Korean fried chicken and divine salmon sushi bake. The surroundings are simple and basic, featuring genuine artwork on the walls, with clean and new tables. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing a delightful experience. Guests have praised the excellent quality food, hot and fresh, with lots of sushi options available. This local favorite has a kid-friendly atmosphere and ample free parking, making it highly recommended for its tasty Japanese cuisine. Many agree it is worth checking out if in the area. The chefs work hard and deliver meals quickly, ensuring a beautiful presentation. The warm and welcoming environment makes it a place visitors would want to return to. Visitors from other cities have expressed that the hospitality makes them feel at home, and the baked sushi is highly recommended, offering a new and enjoyable experience. The Korean style fried chicken is extremely good, with generous half portions and one of the best representations of this dish. The veggie roll is fresh and tasty, though some prefer tighter, more traditional-sized rolls. The agedashi tofu is a generous portion, tasty but not very crispy, with a nice sweet dipping sauce. Overall, Cocos Chicken and Sushi is a nice place to stop, especially if passing through Merritt, and many would return for its quality food and friendly atmosphere.
