We have tried many restaurants in Merrit, trying to find a good beef dip. This place is hands down the best. Fresh cut fries, real gravy, tender melt in your mouth beef. Can’t wait to try their extensive menu.

On holidays! Walked to pub as it was close to our hotel! Got there early and husband and I had drinks! 3 jugs to split ! Coors light ! We are huge beer drinkers back home , so can handle our drinks! We told our server we were going to order our meal now! But would like a 4th jug to split while waiting! She told us she was unable to serve us any more! I'm a server with serving it right! I'm 57 years old and that has never happened anywhere I've ever been! Thanks for ruining the last night of our road trip

What a great surprise! We stopped at this pub on our way from Calgary to Vancouver, and eating here will definitely become a habit in all out trips through Merritt. Tasty and great comfort food, cosy and vitage vibes, casual and attentive service, clean and organized...this can be a place forlynch with family or a night out with friends. If you're in Merritt, you MUST try it!!!

The food was truly delicious, but the service was very disappointing. It took over an hour for the food to arrive, and when I asked if our order was coming, the server said she would check but never got back to us. Among all the dining experiences we’ve had in Canada, this was the most disappointing in terms of service.

Although the place is old and worn down, and has an odd odour, the food was delicious . The service was a little rude .

Says dog friendly. Isn’t. No one was nice about it , snotty. Looked nice inside , didn’t taste the food
