Server was the only one on the floor and clearly too busy, being short with the customers. Once it slowed down she was very friendly. We had a few hours to kill so instead of being short, if she let us know she needed some time, we could have told her to get back to us when she was caught up. We didn't realize that was the problem until observing for a quite some time otherwise we would have mentioned it. Not from town but will definitely go back to try some lunch items if...

I wish I could try so many things on that menu. Unfortunately We were just passing through. I had the perogis with the sausage and all the trimmings. So good. My mom she soup of the day, which was mushroom. She loved it. Best part was the slice of bumble pie. Taste explosion. Wonderful staff. It was a pleasure. If you're stopping by, it's the best place in Merritt.

Parking: They have quite a few spots and there's motel parking too, if the others...

Coleen (our server) provide us an amazing service, all the restaurant staff were very friendly and always check on us for coffee refill. No wonder Home Restaurant haves a 5 Star review because of server like Coleen. We will be back on our next trip
