MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual

I went with my celiac daughter who order the steak off the kids menu - pretty much her only option. This is our second time at a Mr. Mike's and our experience was the same both times (different locations) - disappointing. The kids steak was very grisly and we left 1/3 of it on the plate. I'm not sure if the kids steak is a lower quality steak, but she was disappointed and left not fully satisfied with her meal.

I walked in and basically got told my online reservation was not going to be honored. After waiting for 30 minutes and seeing open tables, I walked out. When someone makes a reservation, it should be honored or your system is not working. I found this very disrespectful and time waster for me.

Our team made 5 reservations through Open Table. When we got to the restaurant the staff would not honour them. And the staff was upset we used open table.

As usual, the food and service was impeccable. The staff went out of their way to make my husband's birthday, a special day. Many thanks to Thomas, Julia, and all the rest of the staff. You're the best!

Had a great valentines day with my husband and had the best beef dip in town. The steak was amazing as well. And the waitress we had was attentive and helped to make our dinner enjoyable

Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty food. We enjoyed a leafy salad with grilled chicken and a tuna poke bowl. Nice Granville Island lager on tap. As a bonus, there was a very fun, welcoming pub night!

Was in town for a weekend and we decided to have dinner at the steakhouse. My son ordered a NY steak and Shrimp. He commented that it was... ok. I ordered the ribs which tasted like old frozen reheated ribs and the ribs was small. Almost the same size a half a rack from Montana's. I have had better ribs from Costco.

Lousy customer service - hockey tournament weekend and due to their lack of planning can’t staff enough to allow a group of teammates to eat together - thanks for pushing us out to give our business to Boston pizza this weekend!

We drive between Edmonton and Vancouver a lot for work. Anytime we stay here at Best Western Plus next door, we swing by Mr. Mike's for dinner. Most visits are great, but today is by far the Best experience I encountered. Was greeted as we entered, seated, and our server came by shortly. I had noticed as we entered, she was working behind the bar and she wasted no time coming over taking our drinks. Hardworking individual. Thank you for recommending the noodle bowl, love it. Exceptional service indeed. Thank you, Julia!

We had lunch Oct 15 my food was good ,my husband had the chicken with scallops rice and vegetables,it was okay except the carrots and Brussels were the most tasteless ,rubbery disgusting things I ever seen ,like maybe left over from the night before the cook should taste their food before sending out,to customers and the waitress should ask if you want more water when you see they are empty

Had dinner here last week with three friends and we all enjoyed the meal very much. Four guys, four steaks, but different variations. Everyone enjoyed their steak so I can’t name a favourite. I had the 8oz ribeye and it was excellent as were the veggies and potatoes. Appies were good too. Young female server was excellent. Kept an eye on us and never let our beer run dry.
The entertainment (Ross Fairweather) was also really good. Nice mix of modern and more classic C&W.
All in all, we had a great time, great food, great music! Will be back.
