This place looks great after the renos, lots of privacy and there are photos of the owners history posted around the place. The food was great! There were some substitutions such as the mushroom caps, were not actually caps but larger pieces of a bigger mushroom, smaller mushrooms would have been more ideal for holding the stuffing, however it still ate good. Burgers were monsters 😋 medium well done, I typically prefer well done, but good and juicy either way, along with delicious fresh cut crispy fries. Place was clean. Service was a bit slow and I felt like the food could've been delivered sooner, it was not hot, but ok warm. I would prefer to wait for my food to cool down at the table. Overall a great meal, would recommend this place. Next time I would like to try some of the other menu options ☺️

THE BEST RESTAURANT in MERRITT.....we are Europeans by origin and this is the best restaurant in Merritt. The food is on European level. Sorry Canadian restaurants are basically not very good, unless you eat steaks.
Cesar salad ($12.95) with shrimp ($7.95) and Aloo tikki plate ($9.95). The salad is disappointing. Aloo tikki plate is potato cake with chickpeas in spicy sweet curry sauce, it is quite interesting and taste good. The Indian food is better here

I have my worst experience of their food. Placed an order for take out. The quantity was very less as per the money. The golgappas were stale. I ll never try their food ever again.

Got loosemotions after eating golgappe here, I felt like they were expired but thought that they reopened after a long time, why would they give anything stale to a customer!! Servers were nice! I hope they are making everything else fresh so someone doesn’t get sick like me!

Gave us the wrong order. Owner took the thing not ordered off the bill, BUT then the salad price went from 2.95 to 10.95... aka just putting the money taken off on a different item! Total swindler!!! Do not recommend this restaurant!!! 0 stars if it were an option. I had the butter chicken it was completely bland and veg pakora was soggy and greasy. The butter chicken at Muhgal Gardens is waaaaaaay better and half the price. We will never return to UKspice.
