The gal who served us was really nice. Unfortunetly my burger was burnt and it came with onions when i requested none. I was so hungry i wolfed most of my charred burger down.... i am never a fan of over done blackened meat. My ice tea tasted like powdered ice tea. The ventalation was terrible.. very smokey when you walk in.. Maybe someone else will have better luck here with a different cook.
Thanks for a wonderful breakfast. We’ve been coming to this location for decades with various ownerships and this most recent of caretakers of this rustic Midway diner has taken over with success. Although it’s not city slick food. It is the kind of food that will fill you up on that long road trip to wherever you’re headed. My first meal was the blue cheese chicken burger - decent and the cheese always makes it funky tasty. I liked it. My family all loved their biscuits...
We love stopping at this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant as our halfway point while traveling to the Kootenays! Nothing fancy about the interior, classic mom & pop diner vibes, however a surprisingly large and diverse menu, as well as consistently delicious food. Our server Nadine is always fun and bubbly. We have stopped here numerous times, both for breakfast and lunch. Definitely worth a try!!!
