I was invited to an Open House for the winery. Showcasing their latest collections. There was a large charcuterie board of cured meat and cheeses to pair with. Meeting the owner and got a real feel for the passion behind the grapes during a tour of the process of making the wines and tasting the differences along the way. It was very interesting and seeing how it all works and how the flavours develop over time. Finishing with a tasting inside. Very affordable experience too....
Beautiful scenery, great customer service by the young ladies. Knowledgeable and friendly. Our tour arrived late, no rushing us wanted us to enjoy our time there. Sabered a bottle of bubble. Wine was good. Will visit and try the food, next time.
We moved off the island 5 years ago, so we are familiar with the area. We finally returned for a visit where we were not busy with work commitments, and Enrico was one of the places we had to make time to go to. Tempest is probably my favourite wine of all time, but I like everything else I’ve tried there as well. The staff is always lovely, and the scenery is beautiful. They offer shipping, and even have cans now. They were exceptionally kind to my mother in law who is fighting...
