I am a trained sushi chef and this cannot be called sushi. Rice was starchy and tasteless with no sushi vinegar, maki rolls were open and spilling their meagre contents and salmon avo roll was squished.
I would appreciate a courtesy order to prove you can make decent sushi, and i'll update my review...

We ordered avocado sushi and it was all rotten and they tried to cover it with sesame seeds to hide the fact that it was fully brown. We ordered regular rolls and paid the price for regular rolls (larger with rice on outside) and we were given maki (small and with seaweed on outside). Yam was dry. Would not eat here again. We ordered vegetarian rolls and they tasted fishy. Spent $60 on just veg sushi for 2 people for lunch. We eat sushi on a regular basis and I think this was one of the worst I’ve had.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the patio is dog friendly! Also appreciate the gluten free menu and soy sauce. Staff were all so kind and welcoming, and even brought some water out for our pups. Food was great - will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the area again!

Not a bad little place for sushi, but like much of the central island, don’t expect customer service to be a high point. The restaurant is open till 8:00pm, but will cut you off for food at 7:30pm. Last call is just an ideal, as you won’t be told about this till ordering more food. The management has the staff so busy with closing duties, we were ignored after the food arrived. No soy sauce or side plates for us. Thankfully the neglect made its way to the bill where some of our items were omitted from the bill.
