Absolutely phenomenal food, one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time! Wine tasting was ok, the dinner was the star of the show. Went here with a girlfriend for a special occasion.

Lovely new tasting room. However, the staff was unwelcoming. Our party of 4 had reservations for a tasting and had informed them that we would be bringing our dogs who are allowed on the patio. When we arrived, we were told that the patio was closed due to weather, and that they were hosting a “pop-up” so no servers were available for the patio. As we had dinner reservations as well, we were reluctant to leave our dogs in the car for such a long time. There was no attempt to make accommodations, even though it was dry outside. Even the individual doing our tasting was a bit brusque and basically unfriendly. It was a big disappointment and step down from the lovely service and warmth we enjoyed in the old tasting room.
As for the restaurant, we missed the old ambiance of candles and the feel of fine dining. Interesting, that with the new tasting room, the restaurant apparently was not included in the upgrades (worn paint on stairs and general air of neglect). Waiter was ok, although not very engaging.

We have eaten here on numerous occasions. The food and presentation are consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. Looking forward to returning after the renovations are completed. Top score to Chef Dan.

Absolutely amazing food! The service was outstanding! I’m sorry I should’ve asked the younger person’s name who served us.. ( we were there August 27, for 4:15) She was funny and sooo sweet! Your winery and restaurant are amazing 🤩!!!

Unsworth Vineyards is located on the south end of the Cowichan Valley in Mill Bay, BC. The vineyard is set amongst farmland next to a lovely farmhouse that the original owners converted into a restaurant. Find their lovely new tasting room across the parking lot with lots of seating options including couches, tables and hightop tables. The room opens up to a lovely outdoor seating area that's perfect on a summer day next to a picturesque pond.

Unsworth offers a leisurely wine tasting experience, usually out on the patio if the weather is nice, otherwise their tasting room is a cozy space during the cooler season. Their welcoming staff will happily impart their knowledgeable about the wine and wine making process to any curious guests. We love bringing our wine tours here!

Our party of 5 had an awesome time at Unsworth. The new cellar door has a very modern and inviting feel to it. After leaving another nearby winery disappointed, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Cathy provided us with outstanding service during our extensive tasting of the delicious wines!

First time visiting the vineyard and restaurant. Beautiful setting and the staff were amazing. Great service and the food was exceptional. We will be returning in the near future and at a regular basis.

Wow!!!! Beautiful place. The tasting area is new and tne patio is awesome. Restaurant had super yummy local food. I highly recommend the pino noir! Will be back many times in the future
