Freshest fish, great portions and wonderful service. We live locally and this place has never failed to deliver. Handy that they have takeaway alcohol too. Highly recommended. Popcorn shrimp are a must.

This was hands down best fish and chips we have had in a long time the sause was amazing the fish fresh and delicious prawns spot on and the staff finsdown the staff was a 10 starfish lol it will be are go to while we are here on the island thank you for a great experience we look forward to coming back...

Got some fresh cod and poutine. Very good food. Fish was battered and fried perfectly for me. Location has a quaint family feel to it and the staff are just as lovely. Will be back. Highly recommend.

3 words... Hal-A-Bites! Best fish I've ever had. Cod and chips were great but if I were local, those nuggets of golden pieces of halibut would have me in there every week. They'd sold out of chowder by 1, so they might need a bigger pot. Beers on the menu but you can't take it to their outside seating. Those 2 things make a 4 instead of 5 star rating.

Wow..... Just wow! Had driven by a couple of times and decided to give this a try. As a Brit, I have high standards when it comes to fish and chips and this delivered! I gave it a Canadian twist and substituted poutine for regular fries and it was well worth it!
The fish was flavorful and not overwhelmed by batter as is so often the case. Coleslaw was yummy too, and the poutine was perfect, loaded with gravy and cheese.
Going to be remembering this place for a long time! (Also, cute drawing on the bag!)

I had the 2-piece halibut, fries, and chowder at West Coast Fish and Chips, and it was amazing! The halibut was crispy outside, tender inside, and cooked perfectly. The fries were golden and well-seasoned, and the chowder was creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor. Their tangy tartar sauce was a standout. Generous portions, friendly service, and a cozy vibe—I highly recommend it!

We phoned in a take out order and ate it in the car right after we got it. It was soggy and fell apart right away. The fish had almost no flavour. The fries were ok but did not have any salt on them and no salt was provided in the bag. Very disappointing after reading so many positive reviews.
