14th Avenue Pub & Liquor Store

I used to love 14th Ave Pub — it was my neighbourhood spot for quick lunches, cold beer, and familiar faces. Brittaney, Lisa, Ian, and the rest of the longtime crew made it feel welcoming and personal. Now? They’re all gone, and so is the charm. The new staff seem totally disconnected, and whoever decided country night was a good idea clearly missed the memo that this isn’t a barn. Really disappointing to see what used to be a great neighbourhood pub turn into this.

First timer at 14th Ave Pub for Monday Nite Football, WOW!!.. What a Awesome time. Brandon that ran the MNF nailed it out of the park. Games, many prizes, free beers giving out half time, gift cards, $10 doller Meal Deal every MNF. I actually left the MNF with more 💰 $$ than I arrived with. As soon as I finished my beer I had another one right infront of me, now thats how I judge great Service.
The 14th just gained a new group to MNF regulars.

Went for their Monday Night 🏈 Sept 22/25 for the Ravens and Lions game! Great atmosphere and the host Brandon was amazing, he was lively and friendly with everyone. The food was delicious and on point for a pub. I ordered the appie platter btw! Our waitress Jessica was an intuitive server, refreshing service as it was timely in its arrival considering the crowd. Our small group of 8 people will be returning to MNF because of this great service and environment. Looking forward to football squares added to the fun! 🏈😉💋

My rating is based on my recent experiences as a member of their MNF league. There is a new person hosting MNF night. They have brought in a new format. It's now like being in a cheesy side show with annoying commentary, juvenile games and endless crap prizes.

The servers are SO friendly & warm. The food was so delicious that after my date night with my bf Saturday night I got my parents to meet me for brunch Sunday. YUMMMMM 😋

I come to this pub fairly often. As it is on my way home from work it’s. It is always a great experience. The waitresses and manager are always friendly. This bar is like the show cheers where everyone knows your name. Last Night I came in there was this bouncer looking guy standing at the glass washer. Giving a bad vib. I am told he is a manager. I am like no way. The manager I know is friendly helps the team serve drinks serves food comes around greeting customers etc. If this is the new manager I won’t ever return.

Just a note about last nights Monday football. Certainly not the same fun atmosphere without Mr Ian there. Not very good planning. Forgot to pick ace spades along with many other issues that were so to say crazy.
Not the friendly Ian atmosphere that’s for sure. Most times I would rate a 5 for atmosphere but last night barely gets a 3. Sure hope he is back soon.

I’m not sure where Ian was tonight. But Monday Night Football was not the same. We pay good money to be in the Football pool, at half time there were no door prizes. They gave away 15 cans of beer as prizes!! There were 2 games tonight one at 4pm and “the” MNF game at 7pm. All the mini pools and 50/50 etc were done with the first game is sad. Most people in the pool work and didn’t/can’t make it to the pub until 5pm… thus they missed out on a lot of the fun! We are all part of this pool to socialize, enjoy each others company and expect that our money provides us with prizes! As this is only the 2nd week I hope things will improve when Ian gets back.

Due to the lack of information given to the football pool participants a lot of members were unaware of the early game being the actual Monday night game. Everyone was late for the game. The manager in charge that night (Brandon) had no idea how to run a Monday football nor did he even attempt to help the bar staff pour drinks or deliver food…so overall I was disappointed in his performance

I had an amazing dinner there last night. Brittany served me and was great as were all the girls. I missed Ian as he's always so cheerful everytime I go. Great food and excellent service by Brittaney.

Our recent experience with this establishment was disappointing. We called to inquire about the bands that were playing since we are out of town. Unfortunately the bartender we spoke with was so incredibly rude and curt. Her attitude was so off-putting we were in shock. We decided to take our business elsewhere before even arriving.

What a great bar! Food was delicious for a great price and loved the homey cottage vibe. But our server, Angela, was the best! She helped us with trying to meet some cute guys! She was so friendly, attentive and personal!
