I am updating and simplifying my review from a couple-or-so months ago:

The service (I would like to give extra kudos to Tialer and Nicole), the food (I have to add that I really enjoy the appy platter--since it is not on the list below); the Almost Famous karaoke nights on Fridays; and the Dirk Diggler jam nights on every second-or-so Monday are all worthy of five stars.

If you're on the hunt for a classic, vintage pub, Captain's Cabin Pub is the one! Located right on the river, it offers a cozy, laid-back atmosphere that's hard to find these days. They even have a smoking patio (though I don’t smoke), which adds to the old-school charm. The food and beer are priced fairly, making it a great spot for a casual outing.

This is my favourite place to go for wings snd beer and a game of pool. So good!! I wings are always cooked to my liking. Servers are friendly. I can enjoy a joint with my beer outside. The atmosphere is very comfortable. Go in a Sunday and enjoy open Mic! I love that it’s across the street from the Fraser River and Spirit Square. It’s nice to walk the promenade after a good meal. Very scenic .

Awesome place for live band every other Saturday of the month.

Ordered tacos and taco salad on taco Tuesday waited over a hour never recieved our order. Waitress took over 40 minutes to see if we wanted another drink. We paid for drinks and left without a meal. No offer to give us something to snack on after waiting a hour. Service sucked

Always fun. Live music and a covered patio for the smokers. Service is great

The calamari was a little rubbery but it was doable and the drinks were good and the server was nice

I've always had a great experience here. Their honey jerk wings are delicious. Their wing special on Wednesday's is lovely and their nachos, yam fries and side Caesar are some of my faves. They have a happy hour menu at specific times and the wait staff seem nice. It also has a very nice view of the train bridge that goes across the river. There's billiard tables available too. All in all, a nice place to go.

Staff always tell us to leave ! One of the staff members have an issue with my friend and kick us out never really had the opportunity to rate the place

Best place for karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays in Mission.
