Maharaja in Mission was a wonderful experience. It is hard to find a venue to accommodate a birthday party for 50 people, but Maharaja was able to do it. They were wonderful and were amazingly accommodating with the menu and for dietary restrictions as well. My wife, family, and friends felt extravagantly spoiled with the generous portions of food and everything was very elegantly presented as well.

We order Kadahi chicken with garlic naan and regular naan . we got the wrong order .. we try to contact them but they didn’t respond and the wrong order they send its old and shit .. didn’t like the service…. Never coming back and telling my other friends not to buy anything from there

To start, the food arrived a bit too spicy for my taste. I love a good kick, but this was beyond what I expected and made it nearly impossible to enjoy the meal. I was disappointed because I had ordered a mild dish and ended up with something that felt more like a fiery challenge than a delicious dinner. The flavor itself was there, but the heat was overwhelming. However, what really impressed me was how the restaurant handled the situation. I called to let them know about the issue, and they were incredibly apologetic. Without hesitation, they offered to remake my order with a more mild flavor and even sent it to me fresh—on the house! The second round of food was night and day. The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and, most importantly, the spice level was perfect. Everything tasted much better without the excessive heat. The portions were generous, and you could tell they had put extra care into preparing the new order. They also included a small complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch and helped turn my initial frustration into satisfaction. While the first experience wasn’t ideal, the fact that they took the time to rectify it so promptly and with such care really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you to the team for going above and beyond! Highly recommend for those who appreciate good food and great service!

We ordered food for takeout, but the daal we received neither tasted nor looked like daal. Instead of posting a negative review, we decided to call the restaurant directly. The team at Maharaja listened to our concerns and went out of their way to deliver a fresh daal makhni to our home. We truly appreciated the excellent service, and Abhinav made sure everything was perfect.

I ordered chicken biryani, veg pakora, some samosas, and they were all trash. Pakora was uncooked. They have in big pieces absolutely tasteless and inside was uncooked. Biryani too dry. Samosa is absolutely tasteless garbage. Only thing that was good was mango lasi.
The food and service is great! We had aloo tikki and paneer tikka masala with garlic naan, it was amazing.

We ordered butter chicken and curry lamb. The chicken was reheated and hard and the butter sauce was terrible. Tha lamb and curry sauce were terrible. Use to come here occasionally for a sit in meal. This was the first time for take out and will be the last time at this restaurant. We had to throw it out. Waste of my time and money. The cook at Maharajah should be ashamed to serve food like this to anyone. There is absolutely no excuse for the terrible food we received.

My friends ordered lamb and chilli cauliflower as well as chicken korma. I definitely see myself coming back here. Recommend this as best Indian restaurant in Mission, BC.
