Always consistently good food with large portions. The young staff are so friendly and attentive making you feel welcomed. The owners run a great restaurant and train their staff very well.

Food is solid, always had good experience with it. Prices are decent especially the combo specials. I have never eaten inside the restaurant so I can’t comment on how the service is but they have always been friendly when we have picked up.

I went to the Mandarin Palace at the request of my friend. My parents ordered take-out from this restaurant a lot when I was young and really enjoyed it. To be honest, I did not like Chinese food as much as most people in general, but I do enjoy their food out of variety’s sake.

I ordered the Chef’s Suggestion ‘B’ choice, which consisted of Sweet & Sour Boneless Pork, Chicken Chow Mein and Almond Chicken. The boneless pork was good; however, I thought it was little too much sauce in it. The chow mein and almond chicken were great. I tried ordering the Creamsicle cocktail but was told they had no whipped cream to make the drink. So, I settled for the Orange Blossom. The drink tasted excellent and had vibrant flavours to it.

The service was good and found no problems while I was there. The establishment looked clean, organized and had strong emphasis on the oriental aesthetics when it came to ornamentations.

As I said before, Chinese food is not my go-to meal. However, I do like to come back to the Mandarin Palace to try more of their menu choices.

Food tastes great and plenty but the sweet and sour pork is hard and tough. The waitresses were friendly and efficient.

Made To Fit Out

Update: April 17, 2025
We are all a little disappointed today. Not sure if there's a new recipe or a new cook in there, but none of us could finish our plates this time around. I'll give them another chance, I quite enjoyed it every other time—can't speak for the others.

I'm impressed! Food is excellent, very fresh.

Only 4 stars on service and atmosphere because I was only there long enough to pick up.

Ordered Combo meals A and C, they said 20 minutes, and it was good, and ready.

Went here for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The portions were huge and the prices were great! Less than $10 for a lunch special.

The food had great flavour - highly recommend!
