Haven’t been here in years, the quality had gone down for so long. They’re under new management now so I thought I would give it a chance - what a difference. The warm welcome, the very nice interior and atmosphere and the absolutely amazing quality of food is all top tier. I went to Japan in 2023, and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt happy eating sushi, despite it being on of my favourite things to eat. This is easily the most satisfied I’ve been since going there. Couldn’t recommend it higher.

Mission finally has a Vancouver quality Japanese restaurant. It is so much more than maki and nigiri. It is elevated. Everything we had was lovely. The Miso soup is deep and rich. Gomae is outstanding. Rice is seasoned and light. Sashimi is quality. Sockeye Oshi Sushi was heavenly. If you have not experienced umami, come here and you will understand what it means. Prices are fair for the high quality and taste. Extensive menu does not disappoint. Clean and comfortable booths. You should eat here if you know the difference. Or want to :)

A TRUE SUSHI GEM!!!!! The price is right and the food is delicious! I absolutely loved everything from the cute restaurant to all the dishes, everything was FRESH and SO YUMMY! Staff was so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommended!!!

The New management of 2025 is superb. The food is amazing. The prices are very fair. And the staff is amazing. Mission now has a top tier sushi restaurant rivaling the best Vancouver has to offer.
