The Wee Chippie Fish & Chips

Seniors here. We asked to substitute coleslaw for fries on one meal which we had last time and they refused.
11 tables and we were on the only customers there at 7 pm.
At 7:08 pm 3 people came in for all you can eat and were refused as they were closing at 7:30. What??? Don’t you have all you can eat to go on your menu.
Food is good but customer service can be improved on eapecially for seniors.

The manager got hostile voice and gave us a lecture about cost of veggies As to reason why they won’t allow a substitute. Told them I can’t eat the fries. Had to order the special with fries and coleslaw and said I can’t eat the fries. Fries came with the fish. They ration the sauce out one small tub when out.
11 tables and we had I with no other guests present. Kick out a customer because they would not make enough money on takeout order.

Food is delicious. Service is courteous. Prices are reasonable and the serving portions are great, especially for the price. The fries were thick with a crunchy exterior and a good potato interior. The fry batter for the fish was pretty light and crunchy, didn’t seem too oily to me. Awesome find in Mission BC.

I ordered takeout when it was a quiet late afternoon on a Wednesday and I’m so glad I tried this place!

We usually go to White Rock for fish and chips but had an appointment at the hospital nearby.

The portions are huge and the tartar sauce is a super dilly and delicious! The dish tasted fresh and was flakey.

I would definitely order from them again when in the area!

Avoid. Fish was very greasy and mushy. It was all you can eat and all I could eat was 2 pieces. Also ordered mushy peas and they were dry under cooked mixed with black pepper. It had been around 2 years since the new owners took over and we had last patron this establishment, and nothing changed in that time. Over priced under whelming.

Great fish and chips! Nothing special in terms of atmosphere, but my friend and I grabbed one of the takeaway specials. Excellent value - just be warned that a large side of chips is a whole ocean of fries 😅

Love the unchanged real quality food! I worked there 20 years ago and it’s still awesome! They haven’t compromised to save money, no cutting corners, just great food. I recommend the halibut and zucchini sticks 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Be prepared to eat a large portion of decently prepared fish and chips!

Loyal customers to this place. We decided to take a friend. Arrived 45 mins before closing and got turned away and refused service. You just lost some loyal customers. We drove from maple ridge and unfortunately will not be back to your establishment.
