We discovered Black Rabbit Kitchen while celebrating our 20th anniversary in Nanaimo, and it was such a memorable experience. The food was outstanding and the drinks were just as impressive. The staff were warm and attentive, and the whole evening felt special. Highly recommend this gem, and we’ll definitely be back!
What a cute place! I didn’t get a good look at the inside as we sat on the patio but it’s very nice and modern. The exterior is lovely and we felt as though it was quite private out there from other diners.

I don't hand out five star reviews easily... But this place absolutely deserves it. The building is very much retains the charm of the old rail station building. There is a little shop with local art and some very neat items. Despite the building having history, the place felt new and fresh. Especially the patio! The server was incredibly knowledgeable on all the dishes. It's a small menu, with rotating local ingredients. We were briefed about where the produce was obtained...
