The atmosphere was very quaint and kitchy in a good way; nice and clean feel. One of the servers was very sweet and understanding, but the other was a little pushy and was fast to move/grab things. [It was quiet in there with maybe 4 tables of 2-3 max] The food itself was pretty alright; i had the Yakiudon and i wish i got something else 😓 i didn't know the chicken was going to be deep-fried and the sauce tasted like pork fat was a main ingredient! The California rolls were excellent, the rice outside was not too thick and the filling inside was very filling. My whole family loved it and we highly recommend this sushi restaurant.
The best sushi restaurant in Nanaimo. I’m always torn between telling everyone I know to eat here and trying to keep it somewhat of a hidden gem. The food is always delicious and is so affordable. Lots of vegetarian options which is also great!
