So ? happy to finally get back here. We were so excited that we might have gone overboard ? with our order. Monkey brain ? ? is a must have. As are the smoked salmon rolls and the fatty salmon sashimi. We were extremely pleased with our order, The Chef’s Special, which arrived on an intimidatingly large & impressive boat, but the combination and arrangement was spectacular. Next time, I will save my miso soup to have between morsels of various dishes. I’ve seen other dishes...
Hands-down my favourite sushi restaurant in Nanaimo! Amazing service and food! Everything is tasty but my go-to’s are the Gomae, just yam roll and veggie yakisoba. Highly recommend!
Lots of options on the menu, including a variety of vegetarian rolls. Price point hits a sweet spot. Our server was helpful, and also took care of our special requests. Most of the crockery that arrived at our table was either chipped/cracked - something that can be looked into. But, overall a good experience & the food was delicious.
