Stopped in a few days for the first time picked up some hamburger buns , sausage rolls and Hummus+pita bread . A little pricey but their baked goods are definitely top shelf we will be going back hopefully they are consistent .

I was told the cake I sent for delivery tasted good but they mis-spelled my friend's name. Not only did they NOT write what was agreed upon on the cake, they decided to put my friend's name on the cake. It would have been ok if they spelled his name right. Rather disappointed.When I brought this to the owners attention, no response

I really wanted to love this bakery. I was in the area and tried the cupcakes. Unfortunately the cake was very hard and dense. It seemed like the cake did not rise properly, and the buttercream was ok, quite sweet. For the price I was expecting more and was dissapointed. I will say the pastries and bread do look good.

After an exhaustive search I was able to find a gluten and dairy free item to purchase for my visiting cousin. Saved me, thank-you. In addition I found multiple treats for the rest of us without dietary restrictions plus a really great loaf of bread. I have to drive right across town but you're definitely worth the trip.Dietary restrictions: Found a fabulous macaroon that was enjoyed by all, both the gluten free dairy free folks and those of us who are not. ?

I recently ordered a birthday cake for my daughter from Hearthstone bakery. I am in Mexico for two months and of course unable to go to the bakery and look at samples so it was all done online and purely on faith from viewing the website. Firstly, I must say that the staff went out of their way to accommodate my request which wasn’t really easy . I wanted a specific Profile for the cake, and it had to be delivered to my daughter where she works during a specific hour. The cake that arrived at her place of work between 230 and 330 just like they promised was a work of art. And apparently, even though I never got to taste it, it was a slice of heaven. Thank you so much to Liam with whom I corresponded and who set everything up Including options and suggestions and pictures . I would also like to thank the employee who delivered the cake to my daughter, even though they don’t do deliveries I’m going to try to post the picture, even though I’m not very techy, but it was a delight to see.

Several people blogged about their Nanaimo bars and I have to agree, they are top notch. They loose marks for having options to tip when you pay, especially since they are not cheap (really, when are establishments going to stop asking you to tip just because you bought something :).
