Just had the opportunity to try the food here. I’ve heard many good things and all very true. Fantastic fresh fish, chips and coleslaw all come to the table piping hot with great service. We will come back again, if you’re looking for a great fish and chips place in Nanaimo, definitely worth trying.
We have dined in here 4 times including tonight.I had oyster plate and husband had 2 cod plate.Delicious as always! My large pieces (5) oysters were very fresh and juicy. Husband’s cods were huge pieces and delicious according to him.This place is a gem. Maggie is friendly and very attentive about the quality of food. Sauces etc all made fresh daily. Highly recommend.Parking: Free parking in front of the restaurant. Plenty space, never had any problems.

We've been going to Maggie's for 2 years or more and no other fish and chips place comes even close to them. The owner’s are always friendly and work their butts off every day. We could all learn something from their work ethic and devotion to making this place great. I highly recommend Maggie's as not once have we been disappointed.
