Absolutely the best baked goods and sourdough on the island. Their croissant Amandine tastes exactly like the ones you'd get in France. Their brownies are so rich and delicious that they're often sold out so you need to be quick! Their Nanaimo bars are the best I've ever had especially the peanut butter one! The only downside is that they're closed on Sundays and Mondays so a bit of planning is required to get their delicious creations. Also their bread club...
My favourite bakery in Nanaimo. Their Peanut Butter Crunch Nanaimo bar is the the best variation in my opinion. They have delicious galettes too. Their cinnamon bun is also delicious. On the smaller side so their selection isn't very big, but what they do make is really good and they switch it up, so there's often something different.
The cake was ready on time and securely boxed (it had to travel for 2 hours), arriving in perfect condition. The fresh fruit decoration held beautifully for presentation the next day, and the cake was enjoyed by all.
Hearthstone is now our go-to place for special occasion cakes!
