This place has solid classic brunch food, the pancakes were nice and fluffy, bacon perfectly cooked and good portions overall. Very reasonably priced and our waitress was friendly and always smiling. Seems like a local place, was consistently busy even on a Wednesday morning. Had to wait about 10 mins for a table for 2.
The perfect place to start a day! I guess they recently switched up the vibe with some new paintings (looks different from the Google photo). Refreshing and lively vibe. Attentive and friendly service. We had the special prawn benny 💯 and smoked salmon benny. The place got a little busy when we were there but definitely worth the wait. Would come back if we visit Nanaimo 👍
I ordered the coal miner. The waitress kept saying it's a lot of food. But I felt it was kinda small and underwhelming considering that's their biggest breakfast.
The amount of food we got compared to the cost wasn't as good as other places we like to have breakfast. The food was just okay. Sadly my yolk broke when they played it. Waitress was nice. Food could be better. Didn't like the hash.
