Marina's Taverna & Pizza

On Canada day, my friend and I were lucky that most other nearby restaurants were closed, but not Marina's. I had intended to go there for ages and I am glad that the opportunity finally came about. The atmosphere was pleasantly Mediterranean, with appropriate music and decor. The Greek menu was varied and delicious. Went on a Sunday night with friends and the place was dead empty. The decorations are cheesy and cheap and need an update. The place appears more like a green house than a restaurant. The server was kind and attentive (putting on music for us and turning on the A/C) but we were the only ones there. The food was disappointing. There was only one server for a Saturday night; only 3 tables of customers. Server was friendly but unfortunately lacked serving skills. We ordered a platter for 2 but had to ask for 2 empty plates for each course. Some of the food wasn't bad but I have had much better. It was also cool inside; playing Indian music in a Greek restaurant?
