Actually the food was really good. I come to Millers every two weeks while waiting for the ferry to Van. Historically, it’s been pub food at best but there seems to be a new dynamo in the kitchen and everything was delicious and well executed. Full tender chicken breast on burger for $16…. :) Server was also attentive and sweet. Go Millers!
As the only seafood processor, they have a captive market. But even so, the young lady that processed our fish was upbeat, friendly, and oh so helpful. There was a young man in training who was also great but new. And of course, the grumpy senior woman was there to put a damper on things with her. Why are you here interrupting my day?' attitude
This seaside pub is great! Server was very personable, beer was cold and a decent selection, the nacho platter was genuinely loaded like someone cared about customer value perception. If you have to wait for a ferry, it's only 4 or 5 minutes walk! Go There!
