Dropped by here since it was on the Nanaimo Bar tour in Nanaimo, but they were out of them. We just decided to get simple drinks instead, I got an orange juice.

A good consistent level of service and products. I frequently have a coffee before playing shows around the corner at the Prot Theater. It's very handy and always decent.

The owners, Tina and Joseph, are wonderful! Great location with the best coffee! Very yummy Chai Tea Latte. Lots of seating, very clean and friendly staff. Serious Coffee has the best dark roast and is the best local coffee shop!

The drink was pretty weak. Service was super slow. I was the only one at the time and still it took 10 mins to get my drink because the 2 young baristas were chatting. More people came after me and an older lady came out from the kitchen and helped so the person after me actually got their drink before me!

We will be back here for more! We stopped in for a chai latte. Good quality, nice portion, served in a ceramic mug. The service was friendly and genuine, so I added on a Nanaimo bar, which was made exactly the way it is supposed to be made. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We came with a dog, so we took a table and chairs on a clean, lively streetside area. You really can't ask for more!

Went to try their Nanaimo bars as part of our adventure in Nanaimo to find the best one and this was our top #1 out of three places we've tried. Very buttery, not too soft, awesome!

Honestly the worst service I ever experienced in Canada. The cashier and bar tender was extremely rude and unprofessional. He rushed our decisions, did not care to ask questions nor to attend us. Asked what ingredients were contained in a sandwich and said “I do not know” and threw the sandwich on the counter. His general attitude was rushed and extremely unpleasant and disrespectful to clients. This is by far the most unprofessional interaction I have had with a restoration service in Canada in 3 years. Honestly a place that needs a serious revision of the personnel.

Good time and sharp coffee

Super nice super friendly, had the breakfast bagel and a cappuccino wasn’t overpriced. Next time. I’m in Nanaimo. I’ll be sure to come back.

Exceptional service! Friendly and down to earth. And yes they make top Nanaimo bars—you gotta get em before they sell out! And you gotta while in Nanaimo! Eclectic sitting area with lots of chairs in a nice downtown district. I’ll be back!

We visited here before going to Nanaimo museum. I ordered a chai latte, chicken sandwich and today’s soup(tomato and basil). Everything was good especially the soup I love it!! And the staff were friendly. thank you for your service and we got a great memory on our trip(*^^*)

Best Nanaimo bar in the city!

This was the best breakfast bagel sandwich of my life! Grilled on a panini press and made vegetarian or with a meat choice.
