Picked up take-out here tonight have a few times. Miso soup, Sunomono salad, several rolls, Las Vegas roll, Moksha with brown rice to name a few. Consistently good sushi, will be back.
As a former Vancouver resident, I was on the hunt for a great sushi spot on the island, and Umai sushi hits all the right notes. The fish is always fresh, making the hour-long trip from my place well worth it. Even when they made a rare mistake with my order, the owner’s personal apology and credit demonstrated their excellent customer service.
