Elephant Vineyard is magical! The staff is warm and welcoming, and the vineyard itself is stunning. I was touched learning it was created in memory of the founders’ first child — especially since their birthday matches mine! The 2019 Meritage Reserve Red Blend is incredible — rich, full-bodied, and my favorite. Can’t wait to return!
I make sure to come here every time I’m in the area and stock up on their cherry and cassis fortified wine. The apricot wine is also delicious, and their regular wines are not bad either although perhaps not the same caliber that you may find at nearby wineries that only make grape wines. The tasting experience here is always great. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate (and quite generous with their pours!). The garden at the back is lovely and a nice respite...
Just visited this past weekend. My friends and I had such a lovely experience and the tastings were really great. They have a lovely patio area. Our host Jeannie (hope I spelled correctly) was super fun and very knowledgeable! Will definitely go back!
