Beautiful unpretentious winery with great outdoor setting for tasting. The hostess took time to share information about the wine, the vineyard, and the estate’s history.
Both, the rose and the Syrah were excellent!
Cute family vineyard with amazing views. There is also a really friendly farm cat here called Max that will not hesitate to give you a friendly boop as a welcome. Recommended for cat lovers that also care about wine.
Always a great stop when I'm in the Okanagan, their Syrah is consistently one of my favorites! Wine tasting on their patio is a treat!
We visited Nichol Vineyard after a recommendation from a local. We had a lovely relaxed time, the manager/barman was excellent and down to earth. He was so kind he gave us a free bottle as it was our honeymoon!
The wine tastes excellent too!
Thanks a lot!
A beautiful spot with wonderful owners and staff (shout out to Stacy) excellent wine, a gorgeous view of the valley and a great covered patio to enjoy it all from. Well worth a visit!
Great spot with beautiful views and generous pours. Off the beaten path- well worth a stop. Staff (Helen) was outstanding and generous with their time even when busy.
Best overall winery experience we’ve had. Exceptional service, exciting and well-crafted wines, and the most stunning view imaginable.
Decent wines for sure, but note that the wine tasting fee ($10/person) is non-refundable. Other wineries deduct the fee if you buy a bottle of wine, but not this place. Also, note that you should pay for your wine tasting fee separately from a bottle purchase. Why, you may ask? Well, when they ring up the purchase, the total amount appears on the credit card terminal, which in turn prompts you for a tip. The tip is then based upon both the testing fee AND the bottle purchase, so be prepared to add 15% minimum to your bottle cost. The 'other' option on the terminal was disabled, so you're forced to tip. I have no problem adding a tip to the wine tasting fee, but tipping on bottle purchase is VERY sneaky. Also, it's the only winery I've ever seen where they don't refund the tasting fee if you purchase, so for those reasons I'm giving it a 1-star rating.
Post business response: How about instead of asking your customers to help pay your staff a decent wage, YOU pay the decent wage? This is the SECOND review, because your business couldn't be bothered to respond to the FIRST review and address my concerns two years ago, so your rating dropped further due to your lack of acknowledgment or response.
You have done NOTHING to address the fact that you are lumping the wine tasting and the bottle cost together on the same credit card charge, so you're charging a tip on the bottle cost? Seriously? If you want to charge for tastings, while your local competitors do not, that's your business as it won't be a benefit for customers to come to your vineyard. Ring the tasting in separately from a bottle purchase and there's no issue. By the way, the lady who served us acted as though she was doing us a big favour by allowing us a tasting before several of us made purchases. Perhaps be more respectful and grateful to your customers next time...you're not the only vineyard in town.
Happy wine season!
Some of the best wine, staff, and vibes. Absolute cinema! Definitely will be back! Thanks for the memories!
Staff is rude. Not friendly. Speak with guests as if they were tired of us. We visited winery last weekend. And were upset and disapointed. Especially a lady with orange brows were rude to us. Eventhough one of my girlfriends bought a bottle of wine from them. Don't recommend to go there. You'd rather visit Three sisters or Little Engine or Foxtrot where you will find much better wine and smily kind passionate about wine people. Don't waste your time on this winery.

Thanks Helen for a great tasting! Beautiful view - excellent pinot noir!!
Some of the oldest vines in the valley. They also have a record player and if you are nice they might let you pick the music. I picked hall and oats and Abba!!!
Generous pours and great views. We always make sure to stop at Nichol as we know we will have a good time.
Had a great experience at Nichol today. Matt was fantastic—super friendly, attentive and laid-back, which perfectly matched our vibe. The record player set a relaxed atmosphere, and having the option for wine by the glass made it easy to sit and relax. The views were absolutely stunning. A great spot to unwind and enjoy some quality wine. Highly recommend!
We had the best service ever received at a winery here - incredible wines, great people.
Fantastic tasting experience at Nichol.
