Tom, our wine host, was laid-back, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuine. The wine was the best we had on the Bench – developed and delicious. We can't wait to take it back to Revelstoke to enjoy. If you're in Naramata, this vineyard and wine tasting is a must!
We did 4 wineries in the area and this was the favourite. Megan gave us a really nice tasting, plenty of info on the wine, winery and the region.The wine was also my favourite and we all got some Pinot Gris and the V red blend. My only regret is that I may not have bought enough wine.
We wandered in around mid day on a Monday for a tasting. I had tried some of the Van Westen wine's at a wedding before and loved them and wanted my husband to try them. There was no one there when we showed up so we got a solo experience. The man who did our tasting was awesome, super nice and informative. The wines are really good, we loved the riesling. Cheap tasting that is donated to the children hospital. Took a few bottles home, can't wait to order more! Dog friendly,...
