Went in to order food. Brought it home outside nelson found out one of the burgers was not what we ordered or paid for. We called to let them know. The person on the phone was rude, dismissive tried to say a double burger on the menu was not possible despite paying for it then hung up on us. At least there are other burger options in town. Brand loyalty to a brand with no respect for it's clientele is stupidity.

Went in placed a large order 5 burgers + sides , one for a Double Uncle Burger got home discovered that what we got was a small bun one patty a slice of unmelted cheese and two very small very overcooked bacon slices. When we called the restaurant I was informed they didn't have double uncle's (2 Patties) then informed me that it would have cost extra for the patty why didn't they inform me about it when we ordered the burger? Instead they gave us an inferior product. Then to top it off the lady who I was speaking with hung up on me very poor customer service.

Food is ok but the service is absolutely horrible some days, can't even understand you when trying to place an order and not even kind or talk to you at all, like they are zombies. How is thanks have a nice day so hard to say?

The service in this place is absolute garbage A&W while still fast food used to be a restaurant that provided good service with a smile now its fast becoming another burger king with poor service miserable people behind the counter and the food isn't what it used to be either

Went thru the drive thru yesterday at 2pm.
Couldn’t understand the person on the intercom. Took a few tries. Even worse when I went to window. Please have someone who can speak English understandly. It took several tries to understand what the cost was. I always order a separate order of bacon for my dog. They don’t understand a simple request. I’ve even had them add the bacon to my burger before. The person working drive thru on Sunday Dec 14 at 2 pm should NOT be working the drive thru!

I ordered a burger just recently, and I think your nighttime staff needs to be better supervised. They are giving out stale food and assuming Im not smart enough to know better. I worked at AW Castlegar, the buns are not supposed to be rock solid(stale) and the patties are not supposed to be fossilized pucks. This only happens when food is kept past the holding point of 4 hours. Had a good argument with your staff, but Ill be tipping regulations about your Railway location. You ought to be ashamed, first for the bad food being sold, second for your staff thinking its ok to argue when Ive been eating it for longer than they've been alive. Do better.

I usually have a good experience at A&W, but today was disappointing. When I went to pick up my food, the employee named Vaibhav Lahar was extremely rude for no reason. I politely asked for some ice, and he responded in a very disrespectful tone saying, “The machine is shut down. I cannot do this,” without any courtesy or basic customer service.
His attitude felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional.

Room temperature burgers- no kidding. Also, fries were also barely warm. This is the second time in a row - staff is nice, but quality control is poor.

I am very disappointed last week when I eat at a&w here in Nelson bc inside chahko Mika mall. I order the mushrooms mozzarella burger and when I check the burger only 5pcs of small mushrooms and it's look very dry and I think the sauce was too less also. And when I go back to cashier I think his name is Vikra I ask him about why my burger is like this and I show to him and he just said that's how they give it to all costumers so I was surprised his telling like that I can't believe it. So I told him that's not good men it's not right and I show him the picture in the menu board then I compare what I get and he just swing his head and say nothing. And I told him pls give me a extra mushroom or I will not eat this and he give me.my point here is clear one it's false advertisement to me because of what I get and also this should be not happen again. It's not a good for costumers also for the business.costumwr will not comeback if we experience like this. I hope my concern be heard thanks you.
