We ate here the other day and used to come here more often. The portions were smaller, more expensive and not very good. People were smoking on the deck, this was not addressed until we asked. To top it off, Findlays used to have nice hanging baskets, they are all dead. What’s up? We won’t be going back.

We went there on Sunday Aug 3, 2025 for lunch and was extremely disappointed. First, the food was not good. We ordered the lettuce wraps, calamari, and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers were okay, but the lettuce wraps were and calamari were horrible. Second, the portions for the price were so small. Third, the service was very slow. Fourth (and largest issue) was that someone was smoking on the top back deck and when the server gave them their drinks he didn’t say anything. It took my husband going to another employee for them to address it.
I have been to Finleys many times and usually enjoy it, but after this experience we will not be going back.

I have never posted a bad review for a restaurant, but this one was unfortunately a bad experience. My husband ordered the new york steak dinner that was on the menu for $36. When our bill came, the steak was $45. We brought this up to our server and she left, came back, and she said there was a change to the menu and this is what we were served. We assumed she had spoken to the manager. There was no option for $45 on the menu for steak and we were not told about it before ordering. My husband let the server know that we would have not ordered it if the price had increased. The server stood there silently and thanked us for letting them know of the mistake. If you have a price change in the menu please let your customers know before ordering.. photo attached of menu price the day of service.

Was a bit wary of the place given several unfavourable reviews so we were very pleasantly surprised by the food (breakfast hash was excellent and very good eggs benny) and the service was pleasant and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating.

Gluten free beet burger is decent but $30 is insane for a pub burger. It’s not gourmet. I will not be back. The fries are overly greasy because the frier is the wrong temp.
